Match the attachment and installation method
Neoprene stopper feet combine a fitting section with a rubber contact beneath a matching assembly. Their retained position needs to remain stable while the complete support arrangement is evaluated for its intended vibration behavior. A foot that moves within its mounting can change the contact even when the rubber face appears intact.
Develop the geometry and hardness around the supported component, available height and surface it meets. The compound should also suit the fluids and cleaners present at that location. A neoprene designation alone does not establish a quantified damping result or load capacity.
Fit the feet fully and check the assembly through the required operating sequence. Inspect for displacement at the retained section, unequal contact or surrounding hard parts touching the support surface. During maintenance, examine a removed foot internally as well as externally. If wear suggests movement against the mating part, correct the fit or mounting condition before replacing it so the new component can remain in its designed position.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Develop the geometry and hardness around the supported component, available height and surface it meets. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
