Product Overview

A custom silicone rubber slip-on handle grip covers a supporting handle with a flexible contact surface. Its internal profile should engage the handle along the intended length, while the outside size should suit the user's grasp. The slip-on construction needs an installation fit that remains suitable after the grip is in use.

Compare the handle's actual diameter or shape with the grip cavity, including any taper or surface finish. Check where the cover should stop and whether that position leaves controls or guards accessible. The material and dimensions can be customized, with hardness choices from 20 to 80 Shore A for silicone and 30 to 90 Shore A for solid rubber.

Trial the assembled handle through the normal hand movement, including any turning or pulling action intended for the product. Look for the cover rotating independently or bunching at an end. A grip that feels comfortable when held loose may behave differently on a smooth or tapered support.

Fit the part without cutting its mouth on an unfinished handle end. Use only an installation method compatible with the selected materials and retained fit. During care, clean both the exposed surface and any accessible edge where residue collects. Replace a split or loosened grip after checking the underlying handle, so the new cover is not installed over the same damaged or unsuitable seating surface.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation, with dimensions and color adapted to the mating component.
Hardness range
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: A custom silicone rubber slip-on handle grip covers a supporting handle with a flexible contact surface.
Custom profile & fit
Compare the handle's actual diameter or shape with the grip cavity, including any taper or surface finish.
Assembly considerations
The slip-on construction needs an installation fit that remains suitable after the grip is in use.
Design check
Check where the cover should stop and whether that position leaves controls or guards accessible.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
