A wire harness hole sleeve protects a bundle as it crosses an opening and provides a flexible interface for the surrounding assembly. To manage small movement, the sleeve needs a cable route that does not repeatedly force the bundle into the same narrow section of rubber.
Custom dimensions, compound, hardness and color are available. Assess the harness in its finished wrapped form and check the position of the next clips. A clip that pulls the bundle sideways can concentrate motion at the sleeve even if it holds the harness securely elsewhere.
Inspect the entry while the equipment goes through its intended movement. Look for contact at one side, a rolled lip or a part of the sleeve touching rigid hardware. Evaluate vibration-related behavior on that assembled arrangement. If wear appears, adjust the route or support that creates the local motion before replacing the rubber. Keep cable ties clear of the sleeve body so they do not collapse its passage or prevent the intended flexible section from responding to the harness position.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. To manage small movement, the sleeve needs a cable route that does not repeatedly force the bundle into the same narrow section of rubber. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
