A Pull through Rubber Grommet needs an aligned installation path so the retained profile can settle into its opening without twisting. Before applying force, check the orientation of the part and the handling area available on the far side of the panel.
Custom size, material, hardness and color options allow the component to follow the intended assembly. Keep its handling features distinct from the wire or connector; the electrical parts should not carry the force used to seat the rubber unless that is explicitly part of the assembly design.
Pull steadily and pause as the retaining section reaches the panel. Inspect around the edge before applying any additional movement. A section that enters first may leave the opposite lip caught inside the hole, creating a tilted seat. Let the rubber relax and check the cable passage after engagement. During removal, release nearby supports so the lead cannot restrain the part unexpectedly. Examine the narrower areas for stretching or cuts before refitting, particularly if the previous installation required unusually high force.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A section that enters first may leave the opposite lip caught inside the hole, creating a tilted seat. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
