Custom rubber grommet sealing plugs provide a fitted closure for an opening that needs a rubber interface. The selected plug profile should suit the hole and the function of its center, with the retaining perimeter responsible for keeping the component in position.
Check the opening thickness and the space behind it before fitting. ETOL can vary dimensions, structure, material, hardness and color. A closed face may need clearance from internal components even if its outside appearance is flat. Avoid using the middle as a pushing point when the mounting rim needs progressive engagement.
Seat the plug around its edge and inspect for a flange caught inside the cutout. If the design later changes to include wiring, choose a passage appropriate to the cable rather than making an uncontrolled hole in a closure. During removal, release the retaining edge gently and inspect the underside for tears. Clean the seat before refitting so a small fragment does not hold the rubber away from the panel and interrupt the intended contact.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If the design later changes to include wiring, choose a passage appropriate to the cable rather than making an uncontrolled hole in a closure. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
