A silicone micro USB cover closes the opening around a small connector when the port is not in use. Its shape needs to suit the enclosure recess as well as the connector position, because the protective interface is formed where the cover meets the housing. A cap that presses against the connector before seating can leave the surrounding opening incompletely closed.
For a custom design, allow space to lift the cover without pulling on the socket or levering against a thin housing edge. Check the open position with the intended cable attached: the cover should not push the plug sideways or prevent full insertion. If a retaining feature is included, its location must accommodate that movement without repeated sharp bending.
Water exclusion depends on the finished enclosure, mating surfaces, and cover fit, so assess it on the complete product under its intended exposure conditions. Before closing the port, remove trapped debris and allow any moisture to clear. A damaged seating edge or cover that no longer stays fully engaged should be corrected before the opening is relied on for protection.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
