Product Overview

An automotive shock absorber rubber mount is a custom resilient component for a defined vehicle mounting arrangement. Its profile should fit the attachment seats while leaving the supported assembly room for its intended movement. The surrounding clearance is part of the fit, especially where the installation is enclosed by brackets or covers.

Check the available space with the normal load applied. A mount that clears nearby metal as a loose part may move closer to it after compression. Connected hoses or wiring should also remain clear without restraining the supported component through a separate rigid path.

Choose the compound for the actual exposure at the mounting location and align the mating parts before securing them. The finished assembly must establish the required support behavior; the rubber component alone does not provide a complete shock absorber specification. During inspection, look for polished contact patches or debris near surrounding edges as well as visible rubber damage. Those signs can reveal clearance problems before a larger tear develops in the body.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. A mount that clears nearby metal as a loose part may move closer to it after compression.
Custom geometry
The surrounding clearance is part of the fit, especially where the installation is enclosed by brackets or covers.
Fit evaluation
Check the available space with the normal load applied.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; part identification clear of mounting seats and loaded faces.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
