Match the attachment and installation method
Custom silicone rubber plugs with a special shape follow a defined opening rather than relying on a generic round body. Cover and cap variants can also be molded around an outside profile. The shape should make the correct fitting orientation clear before insertion or covering engagement begins.
Check corners, shoulders, and changes in section on the receiving component. A part inserted in the wrong orientation can fold internally while its head appears to cover the opening. The intended pressing and gripping areas should remain accessible after surrounding components are assembled. Select the silicone formulation and hardness for the actual medium, temperature, and handling frequency. Keep contact surfaces clean and avoid sharp tools that can damage thin transitions. Inspect the complete seated position, including hidden retaining areas where access permits. Replacement should preserve the full custom body or cavity, since a similar outer outline does not show whether another part follows the same contact geometry beneath the surface.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A part inserted in the wrong orientation can fold internally while its head appears to cover the opening. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
