Silicone rubber elastic bands should be sized around their installed circumference and the temporary stretch needed during fitting. A loop may pass over an assembly successfully but remain extended beyond its useful working shape afterward. The relaxed dimensions and section should therefore be selected for the actual retaining or positioning task.
Custom color can distinguish versions or assembly locations while the profile controls contact. Check corners and narrow features that may concentrate load on the band. A broad section may sit differently from a thin loop around the same component, particularly where the surface changes direction.
Install untwisted and keep the rubber away from sharp edges. Assess any load related requirement at the intended extension and orientation in the complete arrangement. During care, inspect for cuts, permanent stretching, or a band that no longer remains in its assigned position. Replace the intended version rather than tying or cutting the loop to alter tension, which changes the contact and introduces an uncontrolled local stress.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
