Industrial rubber plugs can be customized to close equipment openings that are handled during maintenance or exposed to nearby contact. The molded profile should suit the hole and surrounding access, while the material is selected for the actual mechanical and environmental conditions. Wear should be considered at the places where the plug is touched, inserted, or rubbed.
Look for avoidable sources of abrasion in the assembly. A rough hole edge can damage the inserted body, and a nearby moving component can repeatedly contact the exposed head. Correcting those relationships is more useful than choosing a harder rubber without addressing the contact. The plug should reach its intended position with an installation method that preserves its working surface.
During servicing, remove dirt before opening the closure and examine the body afterward. Uneven marks can help identify a tilted fit or unwanted contact with an internal feature. Keep the correct custom profile when replacing the part, including head clearance and insertion depth. Assess the selected formulation under the real removal frequency and operating exposure before setting the equipment's replacement interval.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A rough hole edge can damage the inserted body, and a nearby moving component can repeatedly contact the exposed head. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
