Custom medical equipment small rubber plugs close defined openings with a molded part tailored to the device. The shape should account for the surrounding housing and the stage at which the closure is fitted. A small opening that is accessible early in assembly may be partly hidden after the final cover or nearby component is installed.
Establish the plug's function and contact conditions at that location. Exterior protection, access closure, and an internal sealing role place different requirements on the rubber and its retaining arrangement. Select the formulation with the device's cleaning or processing sequence in mind, and evaluate the completed assembly rather than an isolated plug in a test hole.
The head should provide a useful installation surface without hiding a folded body. Keep mating surfaces clean, press the part into its defined position, and verify seating using the access available in the finished device. During servicing, maintain the identity of small closure variants and inspect them before reuse. Correct size, material, and profile should remain linked when the part is replaced.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The head should provide a useful installation surface without hiding a folded body. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
