Product Overview

These small round bands provide an elastic loop for an assembly that needs flexible retention. Silicone construction and a choice of colors allow the band to be considered alongside the surrounding product's appearance and handling requirements. The working circumference is the important starting point: a band that fits over the assembly during installation may still be stretched too far during continuous use.

Choose the section and relaxed diameter around the intended extension and the shape of the contact surfaces. Rounded corners distribute contact more evenly than sharp edges, while wide gaps can let a narrow band slip out of position. Where color identifies different sizes or functions, keep that convention consistent through assembly and replacement.

Fit the loop without cutting or piercing it to create an attachment. Release tension before removing a band from a confined space, and inspect areas that repeatedly slide over corners. Changes in shape, surface cracking, or loss of retention are reasons to replace it. Any load bearing or repeated stretching application needs assessment at its actual working extension.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Any load bearing or repeated stretching application needs assessment at its actual working extension.
Custom dimensions

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
