A 48mm rubber stopper should be specified using its complete profile, including which dimension the nominal size describes. The body diameter, retained length and exposed head must all correspond to the intended opening and the space available around it.
Structure, material, dimensions, hardness and color can be customized. Select the compound for the actual medium and service conditions. Check the removal access with the surrounding assembly complete, since a larger visible grip can still be obstructed by nearby hardware.
Fit the stopper to its designated seat and inspect the full contact edge. Evaluate any sealing requirement in the completed arrangement rather than assigning a rating from the nominal size. During servicing, compare the opening and design dimensions before replacing a distorted part. A plug selected only because its visible diameter appears to be 48 mm may have a different hidden body or engagement depth, changing the retained fit beneath the head.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
