Match the attachment and installation method
An adhesive soft silicone bumper should receive contact over an area supported by its bonding face. A soft profile can deform locally under load, so the attachment needs to remain clear of unsupported edges that may peel or roll. Choose thickness and footprint around the actual gap or support height in the completed assembly.
Match the adhesive to the substrate, temperature, and cleaning exposure. Check the base surface for texture or curvature that reduces contact beneath the pad. A broad footprint is useful only where it can sit against a suitable support.
Prepare the surface and fit the bumper without touching or repeatedly lifting its adhesive face. Follow the selected adhesive's application conditions before assessing normal use. During care, inspect for permanent flattening and a lifting edge. If the bumper repeatedly shifts, review load direction and placement instead of simply choosing a softer or larger version that may increase deformation without improving the supported bond area.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
