A Cable wall grommet provides a rubber-lined transition through an opening, with a sleeve form that can extend protection along the cable route. The sleeve should reach the region where the cable could encounter an edge while leaving enough access to check its position after routing changes.
Choose the protected length around the wall arrangement, including any lining or trim behind the visible face. A cable may clear the front opening but still touch a second edge farther inside. ETOL customizes the dimensions, structure, material, hardness and color so the passage can be developed around these features.
Fit the sleeve before access is restricted by the rest of the installation. Feed the cable through gently and inspect the exit to ensure the rubber has not doubled back. Keep dust from packing into the space beside the cable during surrounding work. If another lead is added later, examine the full passage again instead of assuming the visible flange proves that the inner sleeve remains in place. Support the completed cable route beyond the wall entry.
