A cone rubber sleeve can provide a custom tapered cover between regions of different size. The sleeve's material, dimensions, hardness, and color can be adapted to the assembly. Its large opening, small opening, and length need to be defined together to establish the intended fit.
Check the shape beneath the sleeve and the path used to install it. A narrow end may need to pass over another feature before reaching its seat, so the assembly sequence should suit the finished geometry. The taper should remain clear of nearby hardware rather than being bent sharply to make room.
For a dust-cover role, the end interfaces and surrounding assembly determine the intended protection. Select the material for local temperature and contact exposure. Fit the sleeve without twisting it, then inspect both ends for folding or displacement. During maintenance, clean deposits around the end transitions and examine the narrow region for damage. Replace a stretched or torn sleeve with the matching end dimensions and length rather than shortening it to fit another location.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
