The Connect seals rubber grommet is a customizable entry component that cushions cables at a cutout. Its shaped interface should be considered alongside the parts it connects, since a grommet that fits a loose panel can behave differently once that panel is fastened into the assembly.
Check whether tightening neighboring components changes the opening alignment or the cable's approach. The rubber should retain its intended seat without being used to pull misaligned parts together. Any sealing function depends on consistent contact rather than on the visible flange merely covering the hole.
ETOL offers changes to geometry, dimensions, material, color and hardness. Define the mating surfaces and cable section first, then select the rubber profile around that relationship. This helps distinguish the mounting requirement from the amount of flexibility needed at the exit.
After the surrounding assembly is secured, inspect the entry again. Look for a flange raised by a nearby edge, a cable pressed to one side or a passage distorted by fastening pressure. Correct those conditions before evaluating sealing or routing performance, and repeat the fit check whenever the connected parts are repositioned during servicing.
