A USB dust cap protects a matching connector while it is unused. Custom colors can make the small cover easy to locate on an enclosure or among loose accessories, while its size and compound are selected for the connector fit. The cap should be easy to recognize without obstructing the connection when removed.
Match the internal shape to the connector body and check how the cap sits near the surrounding housing. Its closing surface should reach the intended contact without being stopped by a raised edge. A grasping area that is comfortable on a loose connector may be difficult to reach once the connector is recessed in equipment.
During use, keep the cap free from lint and debris that could enter the connector on refitting. Check whether repeated opening changes the retention, especially if the cap has been pulled from one corner. For water exclusion, assess the cap and mating connector together under the intended conditions. Replace a loose or split cover so the port remains protected during storage and handling between connections.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
