A rubber gasket for sealing should follow the contact path of the assembly without leaving narrow, unsupported sections. This custom product can be formed for round, shaped, or otherwise nonstandard interfaces. Its purpose is to provide a compliant boundary where the mating parts close together.
The most useful dimensions include the opening, the outer outline, thickness, and the positions of any locating features. At a bolt hole or corner, enough material must remain to keep the intended sealing band continuous. A nearby recess can reduce the effective contact width even when the gasket itself looks broad.
During assembly, align the entire perimeter before tightening the joint. Work evenly around the fixing points so the gasket does not migrate toward the last open section. Choose the rubber compound for the actual liquid and surrounding conditions, including any cleaning agents. When the joint is reopened, inspect its seat as well as the gasket: a damaged mating surface can produce a leak that a new flexible part alone will not correct.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
