An expansion joint rubber bellows profile can accommodate defined movement between connected sections when the complete joint is designed for that duty. The folded body should be selected around the required extension, compression and offset. The term expansion joint does not establish a universal pressure capacity or make the rubber responsible for supporting surrounding pipework.
Check the end connections and the available space at every intended position. The folds need room to collect without being trapped, while extension should not pull the attachments beyond their planned relationship. Material selection must suit any contained medium as well as the external environment.
Evaluate the complete system, including its supports and restraints, for the required service. During assembly, preserve alignment and avoid twisting the bellows to make connections meet. Maintenance should include the fold roots and end transitions, where local rubbing or a shifted support may first become visible. Restore the intended system geometry rather than using a longer or softer replacement to absorb an unresolved pipe alignment problem.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
