A solid silicone rubber pipe stopper should be developed for the pipe geometry and the thermal conditions at its working position. The selected formulation needs assessment for the actual temperature and duration of exposure, together with any medium in contact. A solid body does not establish a universal heat or pressure capability.
Custom dimensions, hardness and color allow the plug to follow the receiving bore. Define the intended contact length and the portion left accessible for removal. Check whether the pipe or nearby structure changes the available access after the assembly warms or cools.
Evaluate fit through the representative operating cycle using the complete closure arrangement. Inspect for lasting deformation, a changed seating depth or increased removal resistance. Keep the bore clean before fitting and avoid driving the stopper deeper to compensate for a mismatch. During reuse, examine the contact band for cuts or embedded residue. If the same area repeatedly changes condition, review local exposure and seating geometry before continuing with an identical replacement.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A solid silicone rubber pipe stopper should be developed for the pipe geometry and the thermal conditions at its working position. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
