Square rubber gaskets can follow a four-sided sealing path, while the working cross section is selected to suit the receiving joint. The square outline alone does not determine whether the part should have a flat face or another profile. Custom geometry allows both aspects to match the mating components.
Check the width along each side and the shape through every corner. A corner radius that is too tight can prevent the gasket from lying in its seat, while stretched sides may narrow the contact section. The closed joint should compress the part consistently around the full path.
Place the gasket in its natural shape and align any locating features before fitting the cover. Avoid using the fasteners to pull an incorrectly sized seal into position. Material selection follows the actual fluid, temperature, and cleaning conditions. When comparing replacements, examine the cross section as well as the overall square dimensions. A similar outline can still create a different closing force or leave insufficient contact if its thickness and profile do not match the seat.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
