A custom silicone rubber keypad button provides a flexible pressing surface shaped for its housing opening and underlying control. The button top, moving section, and supporting perimeter should be coordinated so a press reaches the intended switch area. The release movement is equally important to the fitted design.
Check the clearance around the button with the enclosure fully assembled. An edge that touches the bezel can drag during an angled press or remain caught after release. The housing should support the stationary rubber while allowing the moving section to return freely. Evaluate accessible corners of the pressing face as well as its center.
Size, color, and hardness can be selected for the product's control arrangement and handling conditions. The silicone formulation should suit the cleaning substances and exposure at the user interface. Keep dirt from collecting in the gap around the key, and avoid using a sharp object to free a sticking button. If movement changes, inspect the assembled support and clearance before replacing the rubber with a different hardness or shape.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The housing should support the stationary rubber while allowing the moving section to return freely. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
