A Custom membrane keypad provides a tailored control surface for the intended electronic interface. Where capacitive touch sensing is used, the membrane's installed position and the layer arrangement beneath it need to remain consistent with the electronics. The design should not be assessed only by how the loose silicone part looks on a bench.
Place the membrane on its intended support without stretching between locating features. Check for an area that bows above the sensing plane or becomes trapped beneath a retaining edge. The visible control positions should correspond to the actual sensing zones. Evaluate the complete assembly using the touch approach and movement expected in use, including transitions between adjacent targets. During cleaning or servicing, preserve the intended spacing and remove particles from the seating area before reassembly. A membrane that has developed a crease should be reviewed for replacement rather than forced flat by tightening the housing. Keep the evaluated material and profile associated with the electronic configuration when the control layout is revised.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
