A compact silicone USB port cover can be molded around the contour of a recessed connection area. The recess depth and surrounding wall shape determine how much of the cover remains exposed when it is fitted. Its custom design should make that fitted position both protective and usable.
Check the edge of the recess for features that could trap the rubber during insertion. A cover should follow the intended seat without folding a lip underneath the visible face. After fitting, the removal area must remain reachable. Review the product from the normal hand approach, since a recess that is easy to inspect from above may be less accessible during ordinary use.
The molded size and color can coordinate with the enclosure. The internal connector geometry still needs to be identified precisely rather than inferred from the small overall appearance. Keep the seated edges free of dust deposits and inspect for distortion after repeated use. A partially folded cover should be removed and positioned correctly instead of pressed harder in an attempt to flatten it.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The recess depth and surrounding wall shape determine how much of the cover remains exposed when it is fitted. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
