A square rubber lid needs to follow both the straight sides and the corners of its acrylic container. Custom molding can adapt the outline, wall depth, and contact edge to the container rim. This offers a flexible closure whose fit is defined by the complete perimeter rather than by the width alone.
Corner radius is a useful starting point when comparing the two parts. A lid may sit closely along each side yet remain lifted at the corners if the profiles differ. Rim thickness, any outward lip, and changes in the container wall near the top also affect how the cover seats.
Fit the lid progressively around the perimeter without pulling one corner far beyond its intended shape. The acrylic edge should be smooth and free of chips before it contacts the rubber. Choose the compound for the contents and cleaning method, particularly if the container will hold substances that remain against the lid. Remove deposits from the corners during care, where residue can be less visible than on the straight edges. Store the removed lid without folding its sides inward for extended periods.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
