Custom natural rubber seal plugs can follow special-shaped openings or closure features. Their shape should establish the intended orientation and seating depth so the engaging surfaces meet the receiving part correctly. An irregular outline should not be forced into a nearly matching position.
Compare the full profile before fitting, including corners, shoulders, and changes in section. A reversed or rotated plug can appear partly seated while leaving one edge distorted. The exposed portion needs enough access for removal without pulling on a thin sealing feature. Review the assembled clearance around it as well.
Select the natural rubber configuration for the actual medium and local environment. During installation, keep the receiving seat free of sharp burrs and debris. If the plug is removed during service, inspect narrow transitions for tears before refitting. A damaged profile should be replaced with the correct version rather than trimmed or stretched to make it reach the intended seat, which can change both retention and coverage.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A reversed or rotated plug can appear partly seated while leaving one edge distorted. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
