Match the attachment and installation method
Small rubber mounts can be custom molded for a machine location with limited space. Their attachment and working body need to suit the surrounding structure. Access for fitting and inspection should be planned alongside the dimensions required for normal operation.
Check whether tools and hands can reach the connection after neighboring parts are installed. The mount should be secured through its intended hardware arrangement without twisting the rubber body to compensate for poor access. The working section also needs clearance once the machine is assembled.
Choose the compound for the local temperature and substances. Evaluate the complete machine under normal loading and inspect for unintended contact around the mount. During servicing, check both the attachment and flexible region for damage or displacement. A replacement should reproduce the original installed height and profile rather than merely fit through the same opening. Preserve the designed assembly sequence so that the small support reaches its correct position before access becomes restricted.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Preserve the designed assembly sequence so that the small support reaches its correct position before access becomes restricted. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
