Custom silicone rubber end caps for pipe fit around the selected pipe end to provide a protective closure. The inside profile should match the actual outside dimensions and any bead, shoulder, or surface finish near the end. The cap length determines how much of that area is covered and where the opening edge rests.
Inspect the pipe end before fitting. A sharp cut edge can damage the closed face or side wall from inside the cap. The component should seat naturally without being stretched over an oversized feature or left partly engaged. Nearby fittings should leave enough room for the cap's intended removal method.
Material choice should reflect the actual substances and temperature reaching the cap. A protective end cover does not automatically establish a pressure-retaining closure. During service, keep the inner face clean and inspect for hidden cuts before reuse. If a cap repeatedly shifts, review its engagement length and the pipe profile rather than selecting only by a similar nominal diameter.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The pipe cap's length defines its coverage around the end and the position of its open edge. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
