A keypad with carbon pill contacts combines a flexible molded key surface with conductive regions positioned for the circuit board. Each key must bring its contact into the intended relationship with the board and return after the user's press. Custom geometry can coordinate the key field with the housing.
Check the placement of the conductive feature beneath the moving section. A key pressed at its edge can tilt, changing the way the contact approaches the board. The panel should guide the button without gripping its wall or preloading it toward the contact.
During assembly, keep the underside away from oily fingers, loose dust and adhesive residue. Seat the entire keypad before closing the case, then operate every key with the actual board in place. If response changes after the enclosure is secured, inspect compression and support spacing first. Avoid scraping the carbon surface or adding an improvised conductive coating to compensate for an alignment problem. The correct replacement needs the intended contact positions and molded travel, not simply a matching pattern of visible key tops.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
