Product Overview

A hard rubber grip with hardware combines a hand contact surface with a mechanical attachment. The hardware arrangement should locate the grip securely without creating a protrusion where the hand rests. The rubber geometry and the fastening method need to be developed together around the intended handle or support.

Custom material, dimensions and color options are available. Define the hardware's position, engagement and available clearance, including any surrounding cover or moving component. A firm grip body can still be installed incorrectly if tightening distorts its seat or leaves the attachment only partly engaged.

Evaluate the complete handle with the actual hardware fitted. Check hand clearance and inspect for rotation or movement under representative use. The contact surface should not expose an edge of the rigid attachment as the grip is held or loaded. Avoid assigning a general load capability from the rubber hardness alone.

During maintenance, inspect the fastening interface separately from surface wear. A grip may look intact while its hardware has loosened, and a secure attachment does not make a split hand surface acceptable. Preserve the developed hardware configuration when replacing the rubber component, including any features that control tightening or prevent rotation.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: Avoid assigning a general load capability from the rubber hardness alone.
Custom profile & fit
The rubber geometry and the fastening method need to be developed together around the intended handle or support.
Assembly considerations
A firm grip body can still be installed incorrectly if tightening distorts its seat or leaves the attachment only partly engaged.
Design check
Check hand clearance and inspect for rotation or movement under representative use.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
