A high heat grommet protects a lead at an opening where the selected rubber must suit elevated local temperature. Its mechanical fit should be evaluated under the equipment's intended conditions rather than only on a cool, unassembled panel.
Identify the normal heat exposure and any short periods that differ from it. The cable jacket and nearby components also need compatible operating limits; selecting a heat-resistant grommet does not establish those limits for the rest of the assembly. ETOL can customize the compound and geometry around the defined installation.
Check the groove and cable clearance with the parts in their working positions. Follow the equipment's safe servicing procedure when inspecting after a representative operating cycle. Look for a flange that has shifted, a lasting change in shape or a jacket pressed against an unexpected contact point. Preserve the specified material when replacing the part, and investigate unusual local heating instead of treating repeated grommet damage as ordinary wear. The product name alone does not provide a temperature rating for every available formulation.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Look for a flange that has shifted, a lasting change in shape or a jacket pressed against an unexpected contact point. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
