Custom rubber mounts for an engine should be developed around the engine's installed position and the loads assigned to each support. The mount's loose height is only a starting dimension; the working height depends on compression in the complete assembly. That height influences clearances to surrounding equipment and the alignment of connected parts.
Material and geometry can be customized for the mounting system. Define the load direction, fastening arrangement and expected engine movement together. Select the compound for the actual heat and fluid exposure rather than assigning one environment to every mounting position.
Evaluate the complete support arrangement with its intended hardware. Check whether the engine sits as designed and whether normal movement consumes nearby clearance. A mount should not be forced into place to compensate for a misaligned bracket.
After representative operation, inspect for uneven compression, extrusion or contact between rigid parts. Vibration behavior needs assessment at the system level, including the distribution of load among the mounts. When replacing a component, preserve the developed configuration and inspect adjacent supports; a worn mount elsewhere can change the load reaching the new part.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The mount's loose height is only a starting dimension; the working height depends on compression in the complete assembly. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
