Custom medical rubber stoppers and butyl covers are shaped for specific closure interfaces. An inserted stopper and an outside cap need different contact geometry, with their dimensions selected around the receiving component. The final configuration should be assessed through the processing and handling stages relevant to that medical application.
Consider how the rubber is prepared, installed, retained, and later exposed in use. Each stage can place different demands on the material and fit. The selected butyl formulation should suit the actual medium and processing conditions, while the profile should establish a repeatable seated position. A general expectation of stability needs to be evaluated in this complete context.
Keep contact surfaces protected from particles and tool damage during assembly. For a cap, inspect the interior as well as the rim; for a stopper, check the inserted body and underside of the head. Changes to the receiving profile or retention method should be considered when selecting a replacement. Preserve the exact material and dimensional version so that the fitted closure remains consistent with the intended medical system.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
