A custom silicone suction cup provides a flexible contact interface for a suitable glass surface. Its profile and attachment should allow the lip to meet the glass evenly. Size, hardness, and material formulation can be selected around the intended holding or handling arrangement.
Inspect the actual glass area before use. Surface texture, curvature, residue, and proximity to an edge can affect the cup's contact. Evaluate the complete vacuum arrangement with the intended load direction and duration rather than infer capacity from cup diameter. The mounting should not tilt the rubber or hold part of the lip away from the glass. Keep both contact surfaces clean and examine the cup for cuts or distortion before reuse. Release the attachment through its intended method, avoiding uncontrolled pulling on the supporting hardware. A replacement should preserve the original mounting position and lip profile so the complete assembly approaches the glass as designed, with its holding behavior assessed under the actual conditions.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The mounting should not tilt the rubber or hold part of the lip away from the glass. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
