Product Overview

A rubber silent block introduces a flexible element between supported parts in a vibration isolation arrangement. The custom rubber body must be integrated so the intended movement takes place through that element. Nearby rigid parts should not touch each other in a way that bypasses the rubber once the assembly is loaded.

Inspect the clearance around the installed block, including brackets, washers and enclosure edges. A gap visible before loading may close when the supported item settles. Check the operating position and the movement expected during starting or stopping, rather than evaluating only the unloaded component on a bench.

Custom dimensions, color and rubber choices are available, with hardness listed from 30 to 90 Shore A. Select the construction around the support geometry and actual forces; the silent block name does not establish a measured noise reduction. Compare behavior in the completed assembly and look for unexpected contact marks on neighboring hardware. During maintenance, investigate a new rigid contact or changed supported height before assuming the rubber alone is at fault. A deteriorated block should be replaced with the evaluated configuration rather than an approximate size.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: Check the operating position and the movement expected during starting or stopping, rather than evaluating only the unloaded component on a bench.
Custom profile & fit

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
