Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
A transparent rubber silicone cover in a nominal 25 mm configuration should be selected using the complete profile rather than the size reference alone. The cap's fitting section, outer face and available depth need to match the intended opening or covered feature.
Custom material, color and logo options can follow the product design. Evaluate the transparent appearance using the actual molded thickness and surrounding surface. The visual result does not define the sealing contact, which still depends on the selected compound and fitted geometry.
Compare the cover with the finished mating part before assembly, including any edge radius or lip that the body must pass over. Seat it evenly and inspect the contact boundary for a lifted section. During removal, use the intended grip and check the inside for cuts before reuse. If the cap is being replaced after wear, confirm the design dimensions against the opening so a distorted old piece does not become the only reference for the new profile.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The cap's fitting section, outer face and available depth need to match the intended opening or covered feature. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
