Match the attachment and installation method
A soft foam grip provides a compressible hand contact around a bicycle handlebar. The NBR foam sleeve needs an internal fit and an installation method suited to the supporting bar, particularly where it must pass an end feature before reaching its final position. Pulling hard on one thin edge can damage the foam before the grip is fully installed.
Check the usable bar length and clearance beside the controls. The grip should reach its intended position without bunching or pushing against a lever assembly. Any installation aid needs to suit the materials and leave the finished sleeve securely retained once assembly is complete.
Before riding, check that the grip cannot rotate or slide unexpectedly during normal hand movements and that nearby controls remain unobstructed. A soft feel does not establish secure attachment. Inspect the ends and main hand contact for tears or lasting compression during routine care, and keep residues from changing the surface feel. If the sleeve becomes loose, address its retention before use rather than relying on a tighter hand hold to keep it positioned.
The photos illustrate a foam grip's structure and material, rather than a fixed size or hand feel. ETOL manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber products directly, tailoring this cover's bore, wall and length to your handlebar and grip requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
