PCB panel film keypads are developed around the relationship between the user-facing controls and the circuit board inside the device. The visible layout and the internal contact positions need a shared reference, particularly when the panel and board are located by different housing features.
Review the full section from the front surface to the board supports. Check the space available for the silicone structure and any separate layers included in the selected design. Do not assume that the product name defines a complete film, adhesive and circuit assembly; identify which components belong to the molded keypad and which are provided elsewhere in the device.
Custom key geometry, color, hardness and legends allow the interface to follow the enclosure layout. A sample should be operated with the board fixed in its normal supports, since board movement can change the response observed during a loose bench trial.
When assembling the panel, avoid trapping a keypad edge beneath a locating rib. Check alignment after the housing is fully secured, especially near its corners. Keep the contact side clean during handling and inspect for pressure marks if a key remains partly actuated at rest. Those marks can help locate interference between the layers.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Custom key geometry, color, hardness and legends allow the interface to follow the enclosure layout. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
