Flexible accordion rubber bellows cover a moving section while their folds open and close with the changing distance between the ends. The custom boot is intended to help keep dust away from the enclosed area. Its design needs to address the shortest and longest working positions, not just the appearance of the bellows at rest.
At the shortest position, the folds need room to close without becoming trapped between surrounding parts. At the longest position, the bellows should not be pulled into a straight, highly stretched sleeve. Any sideways movement changes how the folds open on opposite sides, so the complete motion path belongs in the fit assessment. Leave clearance around the largest outside profile reached during that movement.
The end connections should locate the boot without introducing twist into the folded section. Fit one end in the intended orientation, bring the assembly to a suitable position for fitting the other, and verify that the folds remain evenly arranged. A twisted installation can place repeated strain in one region.
Size, color, and rubber material can be customized for the equipment. Choose the compound around the actual dust, fluids, and temperature at the boot. Remove accumulated debris from the outer folds during maintenance without forcing it toward an open edge, and inspect for cuts where the bellows approaches nearby hardware.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Any sideways movement changes how the folds open on opposite sides, so the complete motion path belongs in the fit assessment. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
