A rubber protective end cap provides a flexible closure over a component's exposed end. ETOL customizes size and color using different rubber materials and molding processes to suit the covered shape and conditions.
Depth deserves separate attention from diameter. A cap can fit snugly around the side yet bottom out before its rim reaches the intended position. Conversely, a deeper cap may extend into nearby hardware or hide a feature that must remain accessible. Check the end shape, internal clearance and available exterior space together.
The cap should be fitted squarely, without using its flexible wall to overcome a misaligned part. Remove loose shavings and grit from the component first. For repeated access, check whether the rim can be grasped without a pointed tool. Examine the inner end face after removal for concentrated marks; they can reveal a projection pressing into the cap. Material options do not establish one shared temperature or sealing limit for every version.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A cap can fit snugly around the side yet bottom out before its rim reaches the intended position. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
