A rubber protective end tip covers an exposed component end with a flexible outer surface. The custom offering names several material possibilities, including silicone and EPDM, and allows the size and color to follow the application. The internal surface needs to hold the component, while the outside needs to suit whatever it will touch during handling.
Define the end shape and the length of overlap first. Then check the external clearance to nearby parts or packaging. A thicker wall may cover the end effectively but become awkward if it catches during insertion into the surrounding assembly. Material should be selected for those contacts rather than treated as interchangeable across every design.
Fit the tip squarely and verify that the covered end cannot cut into its closed portion. Avoid carrying or pulling the component by the rubber cover unless that retention has been intentionally designed. During repeated handling, inspect the mouth and the outer contact areas for tears. Replace a loose tip with the correct cavity shape instead of relying on extra stretching to keep it attached.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
