A square silicone pipe plug needs its inserted outline to match the pipe's sides and internal corners. The width across the flats is only part of that fit; corner shape and the usable insertion depth affect how the plug seats and where the rubber is compressed.
ETOL offers custom dimensions, hardness, material and color. Measure the opening after finishing and remove loose fragments or burrs before fitting. Include any internal weld or local projection that could hold one side of the plug higher than the others.
Start the closure square to the opening and apply pressure evenly. Check the corner regions for folding instead of pushing harder on the head until it looks flush. Evaluate the required closure function with the selected compound and complete mating arrangement. During removal, work through the intended handling features rather than pulling one corner far ahead of the others. Inspect the hidden contact faces for scoring, and correct an uneven pipe seat before refitting or replacing the plug so the same localized strain is not repeated.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The width across the flats is only part of that fit; corner shape and the usable insertion depth affect how the plug seats and where the rubber is compressed. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
