Product Overview

A Rubber Square Cover should fit the corner shape and depth of the feature it protects. The mouth may match the nominal width while the inside encounters a taper or radius farther along, so the full covered profile needs to be developed with the mating part.

Structure, material, dimensions, hardness and color can be customized. Define the retained surface and the removal access before choosing the outer shape. The selected silicone or other rubber should suit the local contact and cleaning conditions.

Trial the cover on the finished feature and inspect each side for an even seat. Avoid twisting a partly fitted square cover to correct orientation if that loads the corners beyond their intended fit. During servicing, inspect the internal corner areas for cuts or lasting distortion. Replace a damaged part by its designated profile rather than choosing a cover only from the visible square outline, so the retained depth and hidden fit remain matched to the assembly.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation; select the compound alongside the mating geometry.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; solid rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Define the retained surface and the removal access before choosing the outer shape.
Custom geometry
The mouth may match the nominal width while the inside encounters a taper or radius farther along, so the full covered profile needs to be developed with the mating part.
Fit evaluation
Trial the cover on the finished feature and inspect each side for an even seat.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings clear of the working interface.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
