A rubber water plug closes an opening with a custom silicone fitting. The body profile, exposed grip area and hardness can be developed for the receiving component. Its water contact and dust covering roles depend on the intended closure interface and how the part is used between opening and closing.
Check the opening's contact surface and the useful insertion depth before selecting the plug. The head should remain accessible without resting on an obstruction that stops the body early. When a wet plug is removed, residue can dry on the contacting surface and affect the next fit, so rinse or clean it using a method suitable for the application. Keep it in a clean location while the opening is in use and inspect for deposits before reinserting it. Select the silicone formulation for the actual water conditions and cleaning agents. If the plug becomes noticeably harder to seat, inspect the receiving surface and the rubber instead of forcing it. Any required water retention performance should be assessed with the complete installed closure.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
