Self adhesive silicone rubber rings combine a shaped rubber contact with backing that holds the part in its intended position. The adhesive can help locate a gasket or washer during assembly, while the ring's dimensions and formulation must suit the completed joint. Size and color can be customized.
Choose the backing for the substrate and the conditions it will encounter. Clean and prepare the mounting face before placing the ring. Keep the rubber relaxed so its inner opening remains aligned with the feature it surrounds; stretching during placement can leave an uneven boundary after the liner is removed.
The adhesive does not replace the need for proper support and compression where the ring acts as a gasket. Check the joint's closed thickness and ensure the rubber stays on its intended land. During assembly, bring the mating face down without catching the exposed ring edge. If the part is replaced, clear old adhesive residue instead of stacking a new ring above it. That preserves both location and height, helping the next ring reproduce the original contact around the opening.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
