Special-shape rubber keystrokes need a molded button profile that works with the intended direction of pressing. An irregular head can place the fingertip farther from the underlying actuator than a simple round key would. The flexible wall and supporting structure should account for that relationship.
Check the shape against the housing opening and the input mechanism together. A protruding corner may need clearance as the key moves, while the locating features must prevent the sheet from shifting toward an unintended position. The selected silicone formulation does not by itself establish a particular actuation force or cycle life.
Evaluate the finished control at the parts of the head users are likely to press, including its outer edges. Confirm that adjacent commands remain separate and that the key returns freely. During servicing, inspect for rubbing along the irregular outline and restore the intended orientation. A replacement with a similar top view but different underside geometry may change the keystroke even when it appears to fit the same opening.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
