A silicone rubber bushing grommet provides a shaped passage for an electrical lead at an enclosure opening. Its extended section can influence where the cable leaves the panel, so the exit should be checked alongside the retaining groove. A protected edge is less useful if the lead immediately presses against nearby hardware.
Compare the bushing length and internal clearance with the actual cable route. Leave space for the lead to emerge without a sharp change of direction. ETOL can adjust the profile and hardness around the available enclosure space.
Before fitting, remove burrs from the opening and check the bushing for trapped debris. After routing, inspect the retaining area to make sure the cable has not pulled the part partly out. The electrical application also needs its own insulation and retention requirements; the rubber shape alone does not assign a voltage rating or cable-pull capacity. During servicing, check the point where the lead leaves the bushing for abrasion and confirm that the surrounding route remains as designed.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The extended section can influence where the cable leaves the panel, so the exit should be checked alongside the retaining groove. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
