A silk printing silicone keypad combines molded flexible keys with printed legends for an electronic control interface. Protection from water and dust depends on the keypad perimeter, its fit in the enclosure and the design of all associated openings. The printed key surface and the perimeter interface therefore need separate attention during development.
For the artwork, provide the final symbols, text positions and color references at the intended scale. Check that the legends remain readable on the selected key color and are positioned correctly after molding and printing. Small symbols should be reviewed on a physical sample rather than only in enlarged artwork. Explain the expected handling and cleaning routine so the print finish can be assessed under representative conditions.
For the enclosure interface, include a section through the keypad perimeter, housing and retaining features. Show how the rubber is held and where any compression occurs. ETOL can review custom structure, dimensions, hardness and color alongside the printing requirement. Evaluate the finished enclosure under its required ingress conditions, with the keypad secured and all neighboring openings in their operating configuration.
Assemble the silk printing silicone keypad without trapping debris at the perimeter or pinching the flexible webs between keys. Verify that every key returns freely after the housing is secured and that the legends align with the intended functions. Use the equipment's approved cleaning method and avoid abrasive treatment of the printed face. During sample evaluation, inspect both legend wear and the condition of the enclosure interface after normal operation. A useful quotation package combines artwork, keypad geometry and the housing section, making it possible to review the visible controls and the surrounding seal as related parts of the same interface.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. For the enclosure interface, include a section through the keypad perimeter, housing and retaining features. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
