Small round silicone screw threaded seal plugs use a threaded profile to engage a matching opening. The thread form, diameter, and engagement length need to correspond to the receiving part. Their compact size makes a controlled start especially important, because misalignment can distort the rubber before the plug reaches its intended position.
Begin with the plug square to the opening and turn it using the designed gripping surface. Resistance at the first turn should prompt a fit and alignment check rather than extra force. The final stopping or sealing surface should be defined separately from the thread, so the installer knows where the plug is intended to seat. Do not treat additional tightening as a universal method for improving the closure.
Custom hardness and dimensions can be selected around the thread geometry and removal frequency. Choose the silicone formulation for the substances and temperature at the opening. Keep the thread and mating part free from particles that can interfere with engagement, and inspect the profile after removal. A damaged thread or distorted head can make a small closure difficult to fit consistently on its next use.

Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
